Maintenance
Resin is an excellent alternative to Block or Tarmac.
It has such excellent drainage it needs regular cleaning to allow it to function properly or it will become clogged with grime that will lead to moss and looking unsightly.
Specialist Cleaning
Bonded Resin Cleaning / Pressure washing has to be done slowly with the understanding of what is being cleaned. There are 3 layers to most Bonded resin surfaces and the sub layers also become clogged up and require cleaning from the the top by carefully soaking the sub levels with the correct chemicals to enable it to be pressure washed without causing damage to the top resin surface.
Cleaning
Correct Pressure when cleaning is essential or damage can arise. Pressure is too high and it will cause fragmentation, pressure too low and it wont get cleaned properly. Biocide treatment is essential to kill off algae and moss spore to prevent it returning back to a poor condition.
